BIO: Hanz is returning for his 4th year as the head coach of the girls’ soccer program after being deployed to Iraq last year.   He has a BS degree in Sociology/Criminology from the Univ of MN, works for the state of MN, teaches SCUBA, and is a commissioned officer in the Army National Guard.  Hanz has played soccer since he was in the 3rd grade up to division 1 in the Mens’ Amateur Division with the Kickers and has experience at every position.  His past coaching experience includes coaching boys and girls, working with multiple clubs, a head coach at various high schools, and as an a assistant for two colleges.  Hanz lives in Stacy with his wife Heidi and their 2 dogs Peanut, a 20 lb Rat Terrier, and Orion, a 210 lb English Mastiff.  When Hanz is not coaching you can find him hanging with Heidi SCUBA diving and teaching, working on the house, or walking the hounds.

Bio:  This is Rich's fourth season with the girls' soccer program. 
          He is very excited to work with the girls' varsity team this
          year.  Rich graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1988 
          where he wrestled and played soccer.  He then pursued his
          degrees from the University of St. Thomas in 1992 and from
          St. Cloud State in 1995 and has been teaching and coaching
          in the district full-time since 1997.  He has coached wrestling
          at the varsity level and football at the varsity, sophomore and 
          7th grade levels.  He is a social studies teacher at the high
          school.  Rich and his wife, Sheila, live in Pine City, and have
          three beautiful girls; Emily, Abby, and Maddy.
